Unit 2: Modelling discrete-time systems by pulse transfer function
Unit 2: Modelling discrete-time systems by pulse transfer function Revisiting Z-transform, Mapping of s-plane to z-plane, Pulse transfer function, Pulse transfer function of closed loop system, Sampled signal flow graph, System identification techniques for discrete-time models
Unit 3: Stability analysis of discrete time systems
Unit 3: Stability analysis of discrete time systems Jury stability test, Stability analysis using bi-linear transformation. Time response of discrete systems: Transient and steady state responses, Time response parameters of a prototype second order system, Frequency response analysis for discrete-time systems.
Unit 4: Design of sampled data control systems

Controllability, observability and stability of discrete state space models: Controllability and observability, Stability, Lyapunov stability theorem.
