    Define the limiting Error. The resistance value for three registers are specified as 𝑅ଵൌ 100 Ω േ5 %, 𝑅ଶൌ 75 Ω േ5 % and 𝑅ଷൌ 50 Ω േ5 % . Determine the value of limiting error in ohms and in percentage for the total equivalent resistance, if they are connected in (i) Series and (ii) parallel, connection respectively

    Describe the working of Hay’s bridge for measurement of inductance. Derive the equations for balance and draw the phasor diagram. A Hay’s bridge is configured as follows, Arm AB: A choke coil having a resistance R1 and inductance L1, Arm BC: a non inductive resistance R3, Arm CD: a mica condenser C4 in series with a non-inductive resistance R4, Arm DA: a non inductive resistance R2. A supply of 300 V and 500 Hz is given between terminals A and C and detector is connected between nodes B and D. The balance is obtain under the following condition. R2 = 2410 Ω, R3 = 750 Ω, R4 = 64.5 Ω and C4 = 0.35 μF and a series resistance of capacitor=0.4 Ω. Determine the inductance L1 and resistance R1 of unknown choke coil
